Profile of Board Director

Professor Raphael Igbinosa Adeghe (Director) holds the B.Sc. degree in Economics, M.Sc. Banking and Finance, and M.Sc. Economics degree, all from the University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria. He obtained a Ph.D. in Banking and Finance from Igbinedion University, Okada, Nigeria. He also hold a postgraduate Certificate in Leadership from University of Pittsburgh, USA.

He is a member of the following professional bodies; Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN), Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), Nigerian Environmental Society (MNES), and Institute of Cost Management of Nigeria (ACM) respectively.

He has over 35 year’s postgraduate experience in both public and private sectors of the Nigerian economy. In 2004, he was made a Justice of Peace (JP) by the Edo State Government.

He is the founder and Managing Partner of Raph Adeghe & Company, Certified National Accountants and Chartered Tax Practitioners.

He has attended several conferences and seminars both within and outside the country and has many local and international journal articles to his credit. He is currently the Dean, College of Business and Management Studies, Igbinedion University, Okada and a member of Council of the University.

Professor R. I. Adeghe is currently on the Board of Prosperity Microfinance Bank as a non-Executive Director, where he chairs the Board Expense Committee at the Bank.

He is married to Barrister Itohan Felicia Adeghe and they are blessed with children.
